Hi, I’m Kelli, the artist behind Stone Wrapped Creations.

Stone Wrapped Creations was born from a lifelong love of gemstones and a passion for creating with my hands.

My love of gemstones started long before I ever learned to wire wrap. As a kid, I was always the one coming home with pockets full of interesting rocks that I’d collected throughout the day. Honestly… I still do that sometimes. To this day, you can find me stopping to admire an interesting stone or picking up a beautiful rock that I’ve spotted along my way. I’ve always been fascinated by the incredible beauty found in nature and the way that every stone has its own unique colors, patterns, and story.

When I discovered wire wrapping, everything clicked. It gave me a way to combine my love of art with my lifelong fascination with gemstones, transforming nature’s beauty into handcrafted, wearable art.

For me, wire wrapping is more than just creating jewelry, it’s a form of therapy. When I sit down with a stone and a length of wire, the rest of the world fades into the background. The slow, deliberate process of shaping each curve and twist requires patience, focus, and creativity, bringing a sense of calm that I rarely find anywhere else. Every piece carries not only my time and craftsmanship, but also the joy and mindfulness that went into creating it.

I rarely begin with a finished design in mind. Instead, I spend time with each gemstone, studying its shape, colors, and natural patterns before I ever make the first bend in the wire. Rather than forcing a design onto the stone, I let the stone guide the process. As the wire begins to take shape, each piece develops its own character, ensuring that no two creations are ever exactly alike. I believe the beauty is already within the stone, my role is simply to reveal it.
